Port Arthur Reliability Improvement Project 

This project consists of new construction of 12 miles of 230kV transmission line & structures connecting the new Garden & Legend substations in Port Arthur, TX. Direct embed monopole structures were utilized for tangent structures. Drilled pier foundations were utilized for angles and dead-ends (approximately 30). This project featured numerous cut-ins to the new substations, marsh work, and included approximately 400 pipeline crossings. UCS provided Turn-Key construction of the entire Tranmission Line and completed the project on time and under-budget by providing Safe, Reliable, Cost-Effective, and Productive services.
